Fluorescence Imaging Flow Cytometry With Enhanced Image Resolution

A system for performing flow cytometry, the system comprising:

• a light source configured to concurrently illuminate a plurality of spatial locations on a particle as the particle passes through two or more discrete positions along a flow cell;
• a detector configured to measure a temporal waveform emission of the illuminated particle;
• a computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processing devices, cause the one or more processing devices to:
• receive the temporal waveform emission;
• generate image parameters of the particle based at least in part on the temporal waveform emission and the two or more discrete positions;
• and
• display the image parameters of the particle.

A flow cytometry method comprising:

• concurrently illuminating with a light source a plurality of spatial locations on a particle as the particle passes through two or more discrete positions along a flow cell;
• measure a temporal waveform emission of the illuminated particle with a detector;
• generate image parameters of the particle based at least in part on the temporal waveform emission and the two or more discrete positions;
• and
• display the image parameters of the particle.
