A liquefied petroleum (LP) gas refueling system includes a compressor, a manifold unit, and a controller. The compressor draws vapor LP gas from a storage tank through a supply line and discharges vapor LP gas through a delivery line to a vehicle fuel tank. The manifold unit includes an intake passage coupled to the supply line and the intake of the compressor, a discharge passage coupled to the outlet of the compressor, an outlet passage coupled to the discharge passage and the delivery line, and a bypass passage coupled to the discharge and outlet passages. The manifold unit includes a bypass valve, a first outlet valve, and a second outlet valve. The controller actuates the bypass, first outlet, and second outlet valves according to a predetermined protocol to isolate and depressurize the outlet passage after finishing the refueling process.
A liquefied petroleum (LP) gas refueling system, comprising:
A liquefied petroleum (LP) gas refueling system for a vehicle, comprising:
A method for transferring vapor liquefied petroleum (LP) gas from a storage tank to a fuel tank of a vehicle, the method comprising:
The method of claim 23, wherein the transferring of vapor LP gas from the outlet passage to the bypass passage comprises opening a second outlet valve coupled to the outlet passage and the bypass passage, and wherein the isolating the outlet passage from the bypass passage comprises closing the second outlet valve.
