The present disclosure relates to a composition for a food container and a method for manufacturing a food container using the same, and specifically to a composition for a food container, which includes zeolite, an antibacterial additive, and a porous adsorption powder, thereby adsorbing and removing ethylene gas, carbonic acid gas, and the like generated by a respiratory action of fruit vegetables and fruits, and preventing spoilage caused by microorganisms with an antibacterial action so that it can freshly keep fruit vegetables and fruits for a long period of time, and a method for manufacturing a food container using the same.
