Polyethylene Resin Having Excellent Thermal Resistance

Abstract

Provided is a polyethylene resin satisfying the following conditions 1) to 3), and being excellent in both mechanical properties and thermal resistance: 1) an inflection point exists in the range of −1.0≤log G*≤−0.5 in a modified VGP (Van Gurp Palmen) plot having an x-axis of log G* (G* is complex modulus, unit: dyne/cm2) and a y-axis of phase angle (unit: °); 2) Δ tan δ at 50 to 80° C. is less than 0.025 when measured by DMTA (Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analysis); and 3) a melt index (MI2.16) measured at 190° C. under a load of 2.16 kg according to ASTM D1238 is 0.10 g/10 min or more.
