Display device and driving method for the same

A driving method of a display device including:

• a pixel array unit in which a plurality of pixel groups each including two or more pixels arranged in a first direction is arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction;
• a light emission element provided in each pixel in the pixel array unit;
• a first transistor that is provided in each pixel in the pixel array unit and controls light emission luminance of the light emission element;
• and
• a first capacitor provided in each pixel in the pixel array unit and connected between a gate and a source of the first transistor, the method comprising
• performing first correction processing of simultaneously correcting threshold voltages of the first transistors in a plurality of the pixel groups, then restoring a source-gate voltage of the first transistor to a voltage before the start of the first correction processing, and then performing second correction processing of sequentially correcting the threshold voltage of the first transistor for each of the plurality of pixel groups, and supplying a pixel signal voltage to a gate of the first transistor for which the second correction processing has been completed.
