A determination device for determining a usage validity of a ticket, the determination device comprising:

• a storage that stores feature quantity data created in advance, the feature quantity data being feature quantity data that is obtainable from biological information, wherein each item of feature quantity data is obtained from at least one piece of the following:
• biological information on an unreal person, biological information on an unspecified real person;
• and
• processing circuitry configured to:
• obtain a piece of ticket identification information and feature quantity data from a ticket, wherein the ticket is configured to enable obtaining of information generated based on ticket identification information and the feature quantity data,
• obtain a piece of biological information from a user who presents the ticket,
• determine whether an item of the feature quantity data stored in the storage and an item of feature quantity data determined from the obtained piece of biological information satisfy a prescribed criterion.

A method implemented by one or more processors, the method comprising:

• determining or obtaining a piece of ticket identification information that can identify a ticket for which an application for an issuance is accepted or that is assigned in advance to the ticket,
• determining an item of feature quantity data from a piece of biological information on a user who is to use a ticket that is input,
• comparing the determined item of feature quantity data with items of feature quantity data stored in a storage to determine an item of feature quantity data having a prescribed similarity, the storage stores feature quantity data created in advance, the feature quantity data being feature quantity data that is obtainable from biological information, wherein each item of feature quantity data is obtained from at least one piece of the following:
• biological information on an unreal person, biological information on an unspecified real person, and
• generating ticket data for outputting the ticket based on the determined feature quantity data.
