Abstract
Implementations of the subject matter described herein relate to generating animated infographics from static infographics. A computer-implemented method comprises: extracting visual elements of a static infographic; determining, based on the visual elements, a structure of the static infographic at least indicating a layout of the visual elements in the static infographic; and applying a dynamic effect to the visual elements based on the structure of the static infographic to generate an animated infographic.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- extracting visual elements of a static infographic, the static infographic being an image described in a graphic design file;
- determining, based on the visual elements, a structure of the static infographic indicating a layout of the visual elements in the static infographic;
- training a machine learning model based on datasets of the visual elements;
- recommending a dynamic effect based on the machine learning model;
- and
- applying the dynamic effect to the visual elements based on the structure of the static infographic to generate an animated infographic.
A device, comprising:
- a processing unit;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processing unit and including instructions stored thereon, the instructions, when executed by the processing unit, causing the device to perform operations comprising:
- extracting visual elements of a static infographic, the static infographic being an image described in a graphic design file;
- determining, based on the visual elements, a structure of the static infographic indicating a layout of the visual elements in the static infographic;
- training a machine learning model based on datasets of the visual elements;
- recommending a dynamic effect based on the machine learning model;
- and
- applying the dynamic effect to the visual elements based on the structure of the static infographic to generate an animated infographic.
A computer program product stored in a computer storage medium and including computer-executable instructions, the computer-executable instructions, when executed by a device, causing the device to perform acts comprising:
- extracting visual elements of a static infographic, the static infographic being an image described in a graphic design file;
- determining, based on the visual elements, a structure of the static infographic indicating a layout of the visual elements in the static infographic;
- training a machine learning model based on datasets of the visual elements;
- recommending a dynamic effect based on the machine learning model;
- and
- applying the dynamic effect to the visual elements based on the structure of the static infographic to generate an animated infographic.
