Abstract
An illumination device includes a first light source unit configured to emit first light in a first wavelength band, a second light source unit configured to emit second light in a second wavelength band different from the first wavelength band, a light combining element configured to combine the first light and the second light to emit composite light, a diffusion member configured to diffuse the composite light emitted from the light combining element, and a concave mirror configured to collect the composite light emitted from the light combining element to cause the composite light collected to enter the diffusion member.

An illumination device comprising:
- a first light source unit configured to emit first light in a first wavelength band;
- a second light source unit configured to emit second light in a second wavelength band different from the first wavelength band;
- a light combining element configured to combine the first light and the second light to emit composite light;
- a diffusion member configured to diffuse the composite light emitted from the light combining element;
- and
- a concave mirror configured to collect the composite light emitted from the light combining element to cause the composite light collected to enter the diffusion member.
