Abstract
A wireless proximity detector arrangement includes at least one antenna, an impedance sensing circuit coupled to the antenna and operable to quantitatively measure variations of an antenna impedance over time, and a controller connected to the impedance sensing circuit and operable to at least one of selectively deactivating and selectively activating the impedance sensing circuit for a predefined time interval.

A wireless proximity detector arrangement comprising:
- at least one antenna,
- an impedance sensing circuit coupled to the antenna and operable to quantitatively measure variations of an antenna impedance over time, and
- a controller connected to the impedance sensing circuit and operable to at least one of selectively deactivating and selectively activating the impedance sensing circuit for a predefined time interval.
