Abstract
A computer system including processing circuitry configured to determine a signal representing one or more peak values of an electrical current generated in an electrical machine, compare the signal to reference data corresponding to respective types of electrical machine, and determine a type of the electrical machine based on the comparison. A computer-implemented method, computer program product, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are also disclosed.
Claims20
A computer system comprising processing circuitry configured to:
- receive a signal representing one or more peak values of an electrical current generated in an electrical machine;
- compare the signal to one or more sets of reference data, wherein each set of reference data corresponds to a respective type of electrical machine, and wherein each set of reference data comprises at least one characteristic curve of a current response to one or more voltage pulses;
- and
- determine a type of the electrical machine based on the comparison.

A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- receiving, by processing circuitry of a computer system, a signal representing one or more peak values of an electrical current generated in an electrical machine;
- comparing, by the processing circuitry, the signal to one or more sets of reference data, wherein each set of reference data corresponds to a respective type of electrical machine, and wherein each set of reference data comprises at least one characteristic curve of a current response to one or more voltage pulses;
- and
- determining, by the processing circuitry, a type of the electrical machine based on the comparison.
