Thermoplastic resin composition, molded article, and method for producing and method for improving transmittance of thermoplastic resin composition

A thermoplastic resin composition comprising a compounding agent represented by General formula (1) below to improve the value of transmittance (%) at a wavelength of 370 nm-400 nm:

• R1-R5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, or a structural formula of General formula (1-1) below, provided that at least any one of R1-R5 is a structural formula of General formula (1-1) below,
• R6-R9 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, and
• R10 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a total of 1-5 carbon atoms);
• (in General formula (1-1),
• R11-R18 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms,
• L is a moiety represented by General formula (L1) or (L2) below:
• (in Formula (L1),
• R19a and R19b each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, and
• n19 represents an integer from 1 to 12, and when n19 is an integer from 2 to 12, the plurality of R19a may be the same or different substituents and the plurality of R19b may be the same or different substituents,
• in Formula (L2),
• R19c, R19d, R19e, and R19f each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms,
• in Formulae (L1) and (L2),
• * each represent the position of bonding with the benzene ring containing R1-R5 in Formula (1) above, and
• ** each represent the position of bonding with the benzene ring containing R11-R14 in Formula (1-1) above),
• R20 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl group having a total of 1-5 carbon atoms, and

A method for producing a thermoplastic resin composition, the method comprising adding a compounding agent represented by General formula (1) below to a thermoplastic resin:

• (in General formula (1),
• R1-R5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, or a structural formula of General formula (1-1) below, provided that at least any one of R1-R5 is a structural formula of General formula (1-1) below,
• R6-R9 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, and
• R10 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a total of 1-5 carbon atoms);
• (in General formula (1-1),
• R11-R18 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms,
• L is a moiety represented by General formula (L1) or (L2) below:
• (in Formula (Li),
• R19a and R19b each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, and
• n19 represents an integer from 1 to 12, and when n19 is an integer from 2 to 12, the plurality of R9a may be the same or different substituents and the plurality of R19b may be the same or different substituents,

• R19c, R19d, R19e, and R19f each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms,

A method for improving transmittance of a thermoplastic resin composition, the method comprising adding a compounding agent represented by General formula (1) below to a thermoplastic resin:

• (in General formula (1),
• R1-R5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, or a structural formula of General formula (1-1) below, provided that at least any one of R1-R5 is a structural formula of General formula (1-1) below,
• R6-R9 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, and
• R10 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a total of 1-5 carbon atoms);
• (in General formula (1-1),
• R11-R18 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms,

A method for improving hue of a thermoplastic resin composition, the method comprising adding a compounding agent represented by General formula (1) below to a thermoplastic resin:

• R1-R5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, or a structural formula of General formula (1-1) below, provided that at least any one of R1-R5 is a structural formula of General formula (1-1) below,
• R6-R9 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, or an optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy group having a total of 1-20 carbon atoms, and
• R10 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a total of 1-5 carbon atoms);
