A method of preventing or treating a psychological disorder comprising the steps of:
- identifying a subject in need of treatment or prevention;
- and
- administering to the subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of crystalline form 1 of 5-hydroxy-N,N,N-trimethyl-tryptammonium (5-HTQ) iodide.
A method of preventing or treating inflammation and/or pain comprising the steps of:
- identifying a subject in need of treatment or prevention;
- and
- administering to the subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of crystalline form 1 of 5-hydroxy-N,N,N-trimethyl-tryptammonium (5-HTQ) iodide.
