A monument for an aircraft, comprising:
- a fibre-reinforced polymer body;
- wherein the fibre-reinforced polymer body comprises corrugations configured to reinforce the monument.
A method of forming a monument for an aircraft, comprising the steps of:
- layering plies of fibre-reinforced polymer in a mold;
- curing the fibre-reinforced polymer to form a fibre-reinforced polymer body;
- and
- removing the fibre-reinforced polymer body from the mold;
- wherein the mold is shaped such that the fibre-reinforced polymer body comprises corrugations configured to reinforce the monument.
