Apparatus and method for manufacturing hydrogen tank

A method of manufacturing a hydrogen tank, the method comprising:

• forming a hollow cylindrical initial resin material body by solidifying a liquid resin material in a molding device;
• forming an intermediate material by winding a carbon fiber around an outer surface of the initial resin material body in a winding device;
• impregnating an epoxy resin with the initial resin material body and the carbon fiber by rotating the intermediate material in a rotation device;
• and
• stretching the intermediate material in a longitudinal direction with a pultrusion device.

A method of manufacturing a hydrogen tank, the method comprising:

• forming a hollow cylindrical initial resin material body by solidifying a liquid resin material in a molding device;
• feeding the initial resin material body from the molding device into a winding device, wherein the winding device is downstream of and immediately adjacent the molding device;
• introducing a carbon fiber and an epoxy resin through a carbon fiber inlet in the winding device;
• forming an intermediate material by winding the carbon fiber around an outer surface of the initial resin material body in a winding device;
• feeding the intermediate material from the winding device into a rotation device, wherein the rotation device is downstream of the winding device;
• impregnating the epoxy resin with the initial resin material body and the carbon fiber by rotating the intermediate material in the rotation device;
• feeding the intermediate material from the rotation device to a pultrusion device, wherein the pultrusion device is downstream of the rotating device;
• and
• stretching the intermediate material in a longitudinal direction with the pultrusion device.
