Abstract
A device and method for robotic process automation (RPA) using speech recognition that receives a voice input; invokes, using the received voice input, an RPA workflow, the RPA workflow comprising a sequence of tasks; based at least on the invoked RPA workflow, retrieves an argument from a cloud device; modifies, with the retrieved argument, at least one task of the sequence of tasks; and executes the modified at least one task as part of the RPA workflow.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory comprising computer program code, the memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processor, cause the processor to:
- receive a first voice input for a robotic process automation (RPA) workflow, the RPA workflow comprising a sequence of tasks;
- transmit, based on the sequence of tasks, a request for an argument to a cloud device, a clipboard manager, or both;
- receive a second voice input for the RPA workflow;
- update, based on the second voice input, the transmitted request;
- retrieve, based on the updated request, the argument from the cloud device, the clipboard manager, or both;
- modify, with the retrieved argument, a task originally in the sequence of tasks, modifying the task including performing a different operation in the modified task than the task originally in the sequence of tasks;
- and
- execute the modified task as part of the RPA workflow.
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving a first voice input for a robotic process automation (RPA) workflow, the RPA workflow comprising a sequence of tasks;
- transmitting, based on the sequence of tasks, a request for an argument to a cloud device, a clipboard manager, or both;
- receiving a second voice input for the RPA workflow;
- updating, based on the second voice input, the transmitted request;
- retrieving, based on the updated request, the argument from the cloud device, the clipboard manager, or both;
- modifying, with the retrieved argument, the sequence of tasks in the RPA workflow;
- and
- invoking the RPA workflow with the modified sequence of tasks.
A computer-readable storage medium comprising a plurality of instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:
- receive a first voice input for a robotic process automation (RPA) workflow, the RPA workflow comprising a sequence of tasks;
- transmit, based on the sequence of tasks, a request for an argument to a cloud device, a clipboard manager, or both;
- receive a second voice input for the RPA workflow;
- update, based on the second voice input, the transmitted request;
- retrieve, based on the updated request, the argument from the cloud device, the clipboard manager, or both;
- modify, with the retrieved argument, a task originally in the sequence of tasks, modifying the task including performing a different operation in the modified task than the task originally in the sequence of tasks;
- and
- execute the modified task as part of the RPA workflow.
