Abstract
A method for synthesising polyepichlorohydrin including: a) reacting epichlorohydrin with boron trifluoroetherate in the presence of a polymerisation initiator; b) adding a good solvent for epichlorohydrin to the reaction product obtained in step a); c) adding epichlorohydrin to the reaction product obtained in step b).

A process for the synthesis of polyepichlorohydrin which comprises:
- a) reacting epichlorohydrin with boron trifluoroetherate in the presence of a polymerisation initiator;
- b) adding a good solvent for epichlorohydrin to the reaction product obtained in step a);
- c) adding epichlorohydrin to the reaction product obtained in step b).
