Action system for firearm

An action system for a firearm comprising:

• a cycle of a firearm in operable communication with a spring,
• wherein compression of said spring by a linear force acting on said cycle causes a spring force of said spring to increase until said spring force is greater than said linear force acting on said cycle, forcing said cycle into a direction opposite said linear force,
• a lever arm operably connected to said spring and said cycle,
• wherein said lever arm moves radially about a lever point when acted upon by said linear force acting on said cycle,
• wherein said lever point is distal to said cycle.

An action system for a firearm comprising:

• a cycle of a firearm in operable communication with a spring,
• wherein compression of said spring by a linear force acting on a buffer of said cycle causes a spring force of said spring to increase until said spring force is greater than said linear force acting on said buffer, forcing said buffer into a direction opposite said linear force,
• a buffer tube configured to allow said buffer to slidably move therein to engage a lever arm that is operably connected to said buffer and said spring,
• wherein said lever arm moves radially about a lever point when acted upon by said linear force acting on said buffer, compressing said spring and increasing said spring force,
• wherein said lever point is distal to said buffer tube,
• a housing configured to hold a portion of said spring in a fixed position relative said cycle.
