Abstract
An elevator system having an elevator car, at least one sensor, wherein, the system is configured to: receive sensor data from the at least one sensor that is indicative of a first passenger calling or within the elevator car, determine from the at least one sensor data a travel intent of the first passenger, and take an action when the travel intent triggers an alert condition.

- an elevator car;
- at least one sensor,
- wherein, the system is configured to:
- receive sensor data from the at least one sensor that is indicative of a first passenger calling or within the elevator car;
- determine from the at least one sensor data a travel intent of the first passenger;
