The interlayer includes emission layers, charge generation layers arranged between emission layers, and a layer including an alkali metal and Yb.

A light-emitting device comprising:
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode facing the first electrode;
- and
- an interlayer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein
- the interlayer comprises:
- m emission layers;
- m−1 charge generation layers arranged between two adjacent ones of the m emission layers;
- and
- a layer comprising an alkali metal and Yb, and
- m is an integer of 2 or more.
