Apparatuses and methods for facilitating enhancements of a user experience in respect of a radio access technology selection and utilization

A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processing system including a processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:

• obtaining first data pertaining to a first performance of an execution of an application via a first radio access technology (RAT) in a first network;
• determining, based on an analysis of the first data, that the first performance is less than a first threshold, resulting in a first determination;
• determining, based on the first determination, that a second performance of the execution of the application via a second RAT in a second network would exceed the first threshold by a threshold amount, resulting in a second determination, wherein the second RAT is different from the first RAT;
• and
• transferring the execution of the application to the second network in accordance with the second determination.

A method, comprising:

• transferring, by a processing system including a processor, a provisioning of a communication service from a first network that utilizes a first radio access technology (RAT) to a second network that utilizes a second RAT that is different from the first RAT;
• initiating, by the processing system and based on the transferring, a timer;
• determining, by the processing system and based on the initiating, that an expiration of the timer has been reached, resulting in a first determination;
• and
• enabling, by the processing system and based on the first determination, a transfer of the provisioning of the communication service from the second network to the first network.
