Abstract

A wireless device may indicate one or more capabilities or lack thereof in one or more capability messages. The wireless device may indicate, for example, that the wireless device is not capable of switching between resources, is not capable of supporting a reception scheme, and/or is configured with a particular reception scheme. Based on the wireless device indication(s), a control message may be used to direct the wireless device to schedule reception using at least two resources.

Dependent claims

A method comprising:

sending, by a wireless device, a capability message, wherein the capability message lacks an indication of a capability of dynamic switching for single-frequency-network (SFN) schemes;
receiving one or more configuration parameters, wherein the one or more configuration parameters comprise a downlink-or-joint transmission configuration indication (TCI) state list parameter indicating a list of TC states for both uplink transmissions and downlink reception;
receiving downlink control information (DCI):
configured to schedule a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception;
and
comprising a TCJ selection field, wherein a value of the TCJ selection field indicates, based on the capability message lacking the indication of the capability of dynamic switching for the SFN schemes, to apply two TCJ states to the PDSCH reception;
and
based on the value of the TCJ selection field indicating to apply the two TCJ states to the PDSCH reception, receiving the PDSCH reception using the two TCJ states.

and
based on the value of the TCI selection field indicating to apply the two TCI states to the PDSCH reception, receiving the PDSCH reception using the two TCI states.
