Inter-network short message service among private and public 5g networks

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media comprising computer-readable instructions, which when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

• obtain a subscription policy associated with a wireless device having a first network identity corresponding to a first network, wherein the subscription policy includes at least one messaging preference associated with a second network identity corresponding to a second network;
• and
• initiate an authentication session between the wireless device and a server on the second network, wherein the authentication session associates the first network identity with the second network identity on the server.

A method comprising:

• obtaining, by a first server of a first network, a subscription policy associated with a wireless device having a first network identity corresponding to the first network, wherein the subscription policy includes at least one messaging preference associated with a second network identity corresponding to a second network;
• and
• initiating, by the first server, an authentication session between the wireless device and a server on the second network, wherein the authentication session associates the first network identity with the second network identity on the server.
