Authentication process for facilitating secure access to voice-enabled applications

A computer-implemented method comprising:

• detecting a selection of a voice-enabled application by an internal client device, the voice-enabled application being configured to generate metadata related to a secure interaction between one or more entities for preventing an adverse event with respect to the secure interaction;
• in response to detecting the selection of the voice-enabled application, transmitting an access request to a federated identity provider, the access request comprising an authentication credential associated with the internal client device and an identity indicator associated with the voice-enabled application;
• receiving, from the federated identity provider, an authentication of the internal client device based on the authentication credential and the identity indicator;
• and
• in response to receiving the authentication of the internal client device, providing access for the internal client device to the voice-enabled application for accessing the metadata.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that are executable by a processing device for causing the processing device to perform operations comprising:

• detecting a selection of a voice-enabled application by an internal client device, the voice-enabled application being configured to generate metadata related to a secure interaction between one or more entities for preventing an adverse event with respect to the secure interaction;
• in response to detecting the selection of the voice-enabled application, transmitting an access request to a federated identity provider, the access request comprising an authentication credential associated with the internal client device and an identity indicator associated with the voice-enabled application;
• receiving, from the federated identity provider, an authentication of the internal client device based on the authentication credential and the identity indicator;
• and
• in response to receiving the authentication of the internal client device, providing access for the internal client device to the voice-enabled application for accessing the metadata.
