Traffic protection with predetermined reroute and adaptive failure detection for use of applications hosted on virtual private clouds

An application repair path gateway system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
• for an application hosted on a first virtual private cloud (VPC) location:
• identifying a second VPC location that can host the application;
• and
• determining a pathway from the first VPC location to the second VPC location;
• monitoring data to detect an error in the first VPC location;
• detecting a potential error associated with the first VPC location based on the data;
• verifying that the potential error is a valid error;
• and
• in response to verifying the potential error, performing a fast reroute of traffic for the application to the second VPC location using the pathway.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• for an application hosted on a first virtual private cloud (VPC) location:
• identifying a second VPC location that can host the application;
• and
• determining a pathway from the first VPC location to the second cloud location;
• monitoring data to detect an error in the first VPC location;
• detecting a potential error associated with the first VPC location based on the data;
• verifying that the potential error is a valid error;
• and
• in response to verifying the potential error, performing a fast reroute of traffic for the application to the second cloud location using the pathway.
