Abstract
An EPU includes a motor unit, a blower device, and a labyrinth structure portion. The motor unit includes a motor, an inverter, and a unit housing. The unit housing accommodates the motor and the inverter in a unit space. In the unit housing, a unit inlet port and a unit outlet port are in communication with the unit space. In the EPU, as the blower device blows air, cooling air flows into the unit space from the unit inlet port and flows out from the unit outlet port. The cooling air flows into the unit inlet port after passing through the labyrinth structure portion. In the labyrinth structure portion, foreign matter is removed from the cooling air.
Claims16
A drive device to be provided to a moving object, which is configured to move by rotation of a rotary body, and to be driven by electric power to rotate the rotary body, the drive device further comprising:
- a motor configured to be supplied with electric power;
- an inverter configured to convert the electric power supplied to the motor;
- an accommodating housing accommodating at least one of the motor and the inverter;
- a housing inlet port provided in the accommodating housing and configured to allow cooling air, which is to cool an inside of the accommodating housing, to flow from an outside of the accommodating housing to the inside;
- a housing outlet port provided in the accommodating housing and configured to allow the cooling air to flow out to the outside of the accommodating housing;
- and
- a foreign matter restriction portion including a restriction inlet port, which is in communication with the housing inlet port, and configured to restrict foreign matter, which enters the restriction inlet port, from passing therethrough, and
- the restriction inlet port is open to a downwind side of rotation wind generated by rotating the rotary body.
A drive device to be driven by electric power, the drive device comprising:
- a motor configured to be supplied with electric power;
- an inverter configured to convert the electric power supplied to the motor;
- an accommodating housing accommodating at least one of the motor and the inverter;
- a housing inlet port provided in the accommodating housing and configured to allow cooling air, which is to cool an inside of the accommodating housing, to flow from an outside of the accommodating housing to the inside;
- a housing outlet port provided in the accommodating housing and configured to allow the cooling air to flow out to the outside of the accommodating housing;
- a foreign matter restriction portion configured to restrict foreign matter from entering the inside of the accommodating housing from the housing inlet port;
- and
- an inverter device including the inverter and an inverter housing included in the accommodating housing and accommodating the inverter, wherein
- the inverter device includes
- a switch component configured to convert the electric power,
- a capacitor component electrically connected to the switch component, and
- a wiring board having an outer peripheral end extending along an inner wall surface of the inverter housing and mounted with the capacitor component,
- the capacitor component is provided, such that the cooling air cools the capacitor component, and then cools the switch component, and
- the switch component is provided between the capacitor component and the inner wall surface, such that the cooling air flowing toward the inner wall surface along the wiring board cools the capacitor component, and then cools the switch component.
