Housing, housing assembly and battery

A housing assembly, comprising a metal cover plate, wherein the housing assembly further comprises a housing, and the housing comprises:

• an insulating base body comprising an accommodating cavity, wherein the insulating base body comprises a mounting side surface defining an opening in communication with the accommodating cavity;
• and
• a metal frame provided around a circumferential portion of the opening and fixedly connected to the insulating base body, wherein a through hole in communication with the opening is defined by the metal frame, the metal frame is connected to a metal cover plate, and the metal cover plate plugs the through hole.

A battery, comprising a jelly roll, wherein the battery further comprises a housing assembly, the housing assembly comprises a housing, the jelly roll is disposed within the housing, and the housing comprises:

• an insulating base body comprising an accommodating cavity, wherein the insulating base body comprises a mounting side surface defining an opening in communication with the accommodating cavity;
• and
• a metal frame provided around a circumferential portion of the opening and fixedly connected to the insulating base body, wherein a through hole in communication with the opening is defined by the metal frame, the metal frame is connected to a metal cover plate, and the metal cover plate plugs the through hole.
