Abstract
A fraud detection system which detects fraud in a game of performing collection and redemption of chips in accordance with a win or lose result includes a camera which captures an image of chips contained in a chip tray of a dealer, an image analyzing apparatus which analyses the image captured by the camera to detect an amount of the chips contained in the chip tray, a card distribution device which determines a win or lose result of a game, and a control device which compares the win or lose result of the game and the amount of the chips contained in the chip tray before and after collection and redemption of the chips to detect fraud.

A chip recognition system to recognize a plurality of chips on a game table, wherein the plurality of chips include a plurality of types which can be determined at least by their colors, the chips of the plurality of types all having a disc shape with the same size, the plurality of chips make a stack on the game table in a direction perpendicular to a table surface of the game table, the chip recognition system comprising:
- one or more cameras configured to capture the stack on the game table from diagonally above and generate a chip image in which an oval top surface of the topmost chip of the stack and sides of the plurality of chips comprising the stack appear;
- and
- a controller configured to:
- recognize a position of the stack on the game table by analyzing the chip image using artificial intelligence or deep learning, and
- recognize the types and number of chips of the plurality of chips comprising the stack by analyzing the chip image using artificial intelligence, deep learning, or machine learning.
