Energy prediction apparatus

A method for predicting an energy consumption executed by a computer comprising:

• storing a plurality of vehicle speed patterns as an evaluation pattern, corresponding to an evaluation-purpose traffic information as information related to a traffic where a vehicle travels;
• acquiring a travelling route where an object vehicle travels for which energy consumption is to be predicted;
• acquiring an object traffic information related to a traffic where the object vehicle travels on the travelling route;
• acquiring an evaluation pattern corresponding to the object traffic information from the plurality of the stored evaluation patterns;
• and
• predicting the energy consumption where the object vehicle travels on the travelling route using the acquired evaluation pattern.

A program stored in a computer readable non-transitory tangible recording media, causing a computer to execute a method for predicting an energy consumption, the method comprising:

• storing a plurality of vehicle speed patterns as an evaluation pattern, corresponding to an evaluation-purpose traffic information as information related to a traffic where a vehicle travels;
• acquiring a travelling route where an object vehicle travels for which energy consumption is to be predicted;
• acquiring an object traffic information related to a traffic where the object vehicle travels on the travelling route;
• acquiring an evaluation pattern corresponding to the object traffic information from the plurality of the stored evaluation patterns;
• and
• predicting the energy consumption where the object vehicle travels on the travelling route using the acquired evaluation pattern.
