An image processing apparatus comprising:

• a reference image acquisition unit configured to acquire a reference image as a reference of inspection of a printed product;
• a read image acquisition unit configured to acquire a read image obtained by reading the printed product;
• a correction unit configured to correct colors of the reference image and the read image using a first correction condition and a second correction condition;
• and
• an inspection unit configured to inspect the printed product based on the colors of the reference image and the read image corrected using the first correction condition and the colors of the reference image and the read image corrected using the second correction condition.

An image processing method comprising:

• acquiring a reference image as a reference of inspection of a printed product;
• acquiring a read image obtained by reading the printed product;
• correcting a color of a first region using a first correction condition and correct a color of a second region using a second correction condition in the reference image and the read image;
• and
• inspecting the printed product based on the color of the first region corrected using the first correction condition and the color of the second region corrected using the second correction condition.

An image processing method comprising:

• acquiring a reference image as a reference of inspection of a printed product;
• acquiring a read image obtained by reading the printed product;
• correcting colors of the reference image and the read image using a first correction condition and a second correction condition;
• and
• inspecting the printed product based on the colors of the reference image and the read image corrected using the first correction condition and the colors of the reference image and the read image corrected using the second correction condition.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program for causing, when loaded and executed by a computer, the computer to:

• acquire a reference image as a reference of inspection of a printed product;
• acquire a read image obtained by reading the printed product;
• correct a color of a first region using a first correction condition and correct a color of a second region using a second correction condition in the reference image and the read image;
• and
• inspect the printed product based on the color of the first region corrected using the first correction condition and the color of the second region corrected using the second correction condition.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program for causing, when loaded and executed by a computer, the computer to:

• acquire a reference image as a reference of inspection of a printed product;
• acquire a read image obtained by reading the printed product;
• correct colors of the reference image and the read image using a first correction condition and a second correction condition;
• and
• inspect the printed product based on the colors of the reference image and the read image corrected using the first correction condition and the colors of the reference image and the read image corrected using the second correction condition.
