• the solver device calculates ground state information representing values of the N decision variables by executing a solving process for minimizing the cost function, based on the coefficient information, and
• the information processing device:
• generates the plurality of coefficients based on the combinatorial optimization problem;
• encodes a first coefficient represented by a predetermined first data type among the plurality of coefficients into a first identification value represented by a second data type having a data size smaller than a data size of the first data type;
• outputs, to the solver device, the coefficient information including the first identification value instead of the first coefficient;
• acquires the ground state information from the solver device;
• and
• outputs a solution of the combinatorial optimization problem based on the ground state information, wherein
• in the solving process, the solver device executes an operation on the first coefficient by using a first restoration value corresponding to the first identification value represented by restoration information, and
• the first restoration value is expressed by the first data type.

An information processing method of an information processing device and a solver device solving a combinatorial optimization problem, the method comprising:

• by the information processing device, outputting coefficient information representing a plurality of coefficients in a cost function including the plurality of coefficients and N decision variables, where N is an integer of two or more;
• by the solver device, calculating ground state information representing values of the N decision variables by executing a solving process for minimizing the cost function, based on the coefficient information;
• and
• by the information processing device,
• generating the plurality of coefficients based on the combinatorial optimization problem,
• encoding a first coefficient represented by a predetermined first data type among the plurality of coefficients into a first identification value represented by a second data type having a data size smaller than a data size of the first data type,
• outputting, to the solver device, the coefficient information including the first identification value instead of the first coefficient;
• acquiring the ground state information from the solver device, and
• outputting a solution of the combinatorial optimization problem based on the ground state information, wherein
• in the solving process, the solver device executes an operation on the first coefficient by using a first restoration value corresponding to the first identification value represented by restoration information,
• the first restoration value is expressed by the first data type.

A computer program product comprising a computer-readable medium including programmed instructions, the instructions causing a computer to function as an information processing device that solves a combinatorial optimization problem using a solver device, wherein

• the information processing device outputs coefficient information representing a plurality of coefficients in a cost function including the plurality of coefficients and N decision variables, where N is an integer of two or more,
• the solver device calculates ground state information representing a value of each of the N decision variables by executing a solving process for minimizing the cost function based on the coefficient information,
• the instructions cause the computer to operate to:
• generate the plurality of coefficients based on the combinatorial optimization problem;
• encode a first coefficient represented by a predetermined first data type among the plurality of coefficients into a first identification value represented by a second data type having a data size smaller than a data size of the first data type;
• output, to the solver device, the coefficient information including the first identification value instead of the first coefficient;
• acquire the ground state information from the solver device;
• and
• output a solution of the combinatorial optimization problem based on the ground state information,
• in the solving process, the solver device executes an operation on the first coefficient by using a first restoration value corresponding to the first identification value represented by restoration information, and
• the first restoration value is expressed by the first data type.

A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium on which circuit information described in a hardware description language and representing a configuration of a circuit is recorded, the circuit information causing the circuit to function as an information processing device that solves a combinatorial optimization problem using a solver device, wherein

• the information processing device outputs coefficient information representing a plurality of coefficients in a cost function including the plurality of coefficients and N decision variables, where N is an integer of two or more,
• the solver device calculates ground state information representing values of the N decision variables by executing a solving process for minimizing the cost function, based on the coefficient information,
• the information processing device:
• generates the plurality of coefficients based on the combinatorial optimization problem;
• encodes a first coefficient represented by a predetermined first data type among the plurality of coefficients into a first identification value represented by a second data type having a data size smaller than a data size of the first data type;
• outputs, to the solver device, the coefficient information including the first identification value instead of the first coefficient;
• acquires the ground state information from the solver device;
• and
• outputs a solution of the combinatorial optimization problem based on the ground state information,
• in the solving process, the solver device executes an operation on the first coefficient by using a first restoration value corresponding to the first identification value represented by restoration information, and
• the first restoration value is expressed by the first data type.

A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium on which circuit information to be written in a reconfigurable semiconductor device for operating the reconfigurable semiconductor device is recorded, the circuit information causing the reconfigurable semiconductor device to function as an information processing device that solves a combinatorial optimization problem using a solver device, wherein

• the information processing device outputs coefficient information representing a plurality of coefficients in a cost function including the plurality of coefficients and N decision variables, where N is an integer of two or more,
• the solver device calculates ground state information representing values of the N decision variables by executing a solving process for minimizing the cost function based on the coefficient information,
• the information processing device:
• generates the plurality of coefficients based on the combinatorial optimization problem;
• encodes a first coefficient represented by a predetermined first data type among the plurality of coefficients into a first identification value represented by a second data type having a data size smaller than a data size of the first data type;
• outputs, to the solver device, the coefficient information including the first identification value instead of the first coefficient;
• acquires the ground state information from the solver device;
• and
• outputs a solution of the combinatorial optimization problem based on the ground state information, and
• in the solving process, the solver device executes an operation on the first coefficient by using a first restoration value corresponding to the first identification value represented by restoration information, and
• the first restoration value is expressed by the first data type.
