Display method and electronic device

A first electronic device, comprising one or more processors and one or more memories, wherein the one or more memories store one or more computer programs, the one or more computer programs comprise instructions, and when the instructions are executed by the one or more processors the first electronic device performs the operations:

• receiving a control instruction of a second electronic device, wherein the control instruction comprises position information of a cursor;
• determining based on the position information, whether a first position of the cursor is in a target display area, wherein the target display area is an area in which the first electronic device actually displays content;
• correcting, when determining that the first position is not in the target display area, the first position to obtain a second position, wherein the second position is in the target display area;
• and
• displaying the cursor at the second position.
