Abstract
A sheet detection device includes a measurement unit configured to measure a sheet, and a power supply voltage controller configured to control supply of a power supply voltage to the measurement unit, wherein the power supply voltage controller is configured to start supplying the power supply voltage to the measurement unit when receiving a notification indicating that a mode for performing sheet measurement is set.

A sheet detection device comprising:
- a measurement unit configured to measure a sheet;
- and
- a power supply voltage controller configured to control supply of a power supply voltage to the measurement unit,
- wherein the power supply voltage controller is configured to start supplying the power supply voltage to the measurement unit when receiving a notification indicating that a mode for performing sheet measurement is set.

An image forming apparatus comprising:
- a sheet detection device including:
- a measurement unit configured to measure a sheet;
- and
- a power supply voltage controller configured to control supply of a power supply voltage to the measurement unit,
- an image forming unit configured to form an image on the sheet by using an image forming condition based on a result of measuring the sheet by the measurement unit;
- and
- a delivery space to which the sheet having an image formed thereon is to be delivered,
- wherein the power supply voltage controller is configured to start supplying the power supply voltage to the measurement unit when receiving a notification indicating that a mode for performing sheet measurement is set.
