Abstract

A head-mounted device may include display projectors and waveguides. The head-mounted device may have a head-mounted housing in which the display projectors and waveguides are mounted. The head-mounted housing may have a housing wall forming cavities containing the display projectors and waveguides. A moisture-impermeable cover may be used to cover and protect each of the display projectors. The cover may be formed from an elastomeric sock. The sock may have an opening that allows the display projector to emit image light that is received by a corresponding one of waveguides. Partitions may also be formed in the housing to block moisture and other contaminants. An elastomeric gasket or bellows serving as a partition may be used to separate a display projector cavity from a waveguide cavity.
