Seal inspecting device and container inspecting method

A method for inspecting a sealed container, comprising:

• (a) a preparation step of contacting the container with a seal inspection device for inspecting seals, wherein the seal inspection device comprises:
• an irradiation unit for irradiating light along an optical path extending in a first direction;
• a sensor unit for detecting the light traveling along the optical path;
• and
• a pressing module for pressing the seals of the container,
• wherein the pressing module comprises a plurality of pressing units disposed on the optical path, and the pressing units is selectively located at a first position blocking the light is blocked from reaching the sensor unit and a second position allowing the light to reach the sensor unit;
• wherein the container comprises a chamber capable of containing a liquid substance and the chamber is sealed;
• (b) a pressing step of pressing the sealed chamber with the plurality of pressing units of the seal inspection device for inspecting seals;
• (c) a light detection step of detecting light with the sensor unit;
• and
• (d) a defect detection step of detecting defects in the container based on the light detected by the sensor unit.
