Abstract
Described herein are examples of a route finder utility configured to provide routes for walking, running, bicycling, rollerblading or other means of locomotion. The route finder utility can suggest routes based on desired distance, location, and/or stopovers. The route finder utility allows users to locate exercise routes in unfamiliar locations and/or provide new routes in a familiar location.

A system, comprising:
- a data processing system comprising:
- a route finder utility configured to create routes, the route finder utility comprising:
- a graphical user interface,
- wherein the graphical user interface comprises:
- a home graphical user interface,
- a view routes graphical user interface,
- a my route graphical user interface, and
- a profile graphical user interface,
- a processing device configured to create routes,
- wherein the processing device creates routes in view of travel data comprising:
- a distance,
- a start location,
- an end location, and
- stopover destinations,
- a data storage system comprising travel information comprising:
- maps,
- weather, and
- safety data,
- wherein the route finder utility is configured to find routes via input from a user, process the input via the processing device and create routes via the processing device and information stored in the data storage system;
- and
- the route finder utility further configured to generate graphical user interfaces on a client device accessible by the user, and wherein the client device is configured to display real-time location and travel data via cellular communications or global positioning systems.

- granting, via a processor, access by a user to a route finder utility;
- wherein the access is via a graphical user interface,
- storing, to a data storage system, data comprising:
- maps,
- weather information, and
- safety data,
- selecting, by a processor, a route finder utility,

- enable a user to input route data comprising:
- distance,
- start location,
- end destination,
- stopover destination, and
- locomotion preference;
- executing a route via a processing device and a data storage system;
- generating the graphical user interface on a client device accessible by the user,
- wherein the graphical user interface comprises:
- a home graphical user interface,
- a view routes graphical user interface,
- a my routes graphical user interface, and
- a profile graphical user interface;
- and
- enabling the user to amend the route via the graphical user interface via inclusion of:
- a new distance,
- new stopovers,
- a new end destination,
- a new start time, or
- a new start location.
