A pouch comprising a wall forming a chamber, the wall comprising a water-soluble polymer, and the chamber containing a particulate solid comprising an enzyme, and a liquid comprising a surfactant and/or a polyol. A method of preparing a pouch and a method of preparing an enzyme-containing detergent composition are disclosed.
