Claims15
A method for manufacturing a highly dispersible organic-inorganic hybrid ceria nanoparticle comprising the steps of:
- i) preparing a fluorine-containing organic-inorganic hybrid compound through a hydrolysis-condensation reaction between a fluorine-containing silane compound and a multifunctional silane compound:
- ii) preparing a nanoparticle in which the fluorine-containing organic-inorganic hybrid compound and ceria are chemically bonded through the hydrolysis-condensation reaction by adding a cerium precursor to a solution containing the fluorine-containing organic-inorganic hybrid compound;
- and
- iii) precipitating and separating the nanoparticle by adding a basic aqueous solution to the solution.
A highly dispersible organic-inorganic hybrid ceria nanoparticle in which a fluorine-containing organic-inorganic hybrid compound and ceria are chemically bonded, wherein the fluorine-containing organic-inorganic hybrid compound is produced by a hydrolysis-condensation reaction between a fluorine-containing silane compound and a multifunctional silane compound.
