Abstract
The use of an amine of formula (I) for curing epoxy resins, whereby synthetic resin products with a surprisingly high glass transition temperature are formed with particularly low exotherm. The amine of formula (I) enables in particular epoxy resin mouldings, potting compounds and composites which are simple and void for defects to be produced, having beautiful surfaces and allow high service temperatures.
Claims15
The use of an amine of the formula (I) for curing of epoxy resins:
- where
- R is H or methyl, and
- A is a phenylene or cyclohexylene radical.
A reaction product containing at least one amine of the formula (I) obtained from the reaction of
- at least one ketone of the formula (II) with
- ammonia or hydroxylamine or an oxime of the formula (III) and subsequent hydrogenation,
- where
- R is H or methyl,
- A is a phenylene or cyclohexylene radical,
- m is 0 or 1, n is 1 or 2 and (m+n) is 2,
- X is formyl or nitrile,
- A′ is a phenylene or cyclohexylene radical,
- R1 is H or methyl, and
- R2 is H or an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
