Fine dust capturing device

A fine dust capturing device provided in a ship propulsion device, is disposed in water, and configured to capture fine dust contained in the water, the fine dust capturing device comprising:

• a body portion extending in one direction;
• a water intake provided on one end side of the body portion;
• a wall portion configured to close another end side of the body portion;
• a first passage and a second passage extending in parallel to each other in the one direction inside the body portion;
• a water discharge chamber provided between the wall portion and another end portion of each of the first passage and the second passage inside the body portion;
• an outlet provided in the wall portion and communicating with the water discharge chamber;
• and
• a filter provided in the middle of the first passage and configured to capture the fine dust, wherein
• one end side of each of the first passage and the second passage is connected to the water intake,
• another end side of each of the first passage and the second passage opens in the water discharge chamber, and
• the outlet is disposed in the wall portion at a position that does not face an opening of the first passage opening in the water discharge chamber, but faces an opening of the second passage opening in the water discharge chamber.
