Abstract
The service hole cover member is formed as the two-layer laminated body in which the cushion layer and the board member with sound-insulating performance and rigidity are laminated in this order. The cushion layer is formed of flexible elastic material with sound-absorbing performance and waterproof performance.
Claims8
A service hole cover member applied to a door of a motor vehicle, comprising:
- a cushion layer abutted along an inner panel, which is located facing an outer panel, from the side of said inner panel opposite to said outer panel so as to cover at least one service hole formed in said inner panel, said outer panel and said inner panel being included in a door body provided in said door, and
- a board member laminated on said cushion layer so as to face said inner panel through the cushion layer,
- wherein said cushion layer is formed of a flexible elastic material having waterproof performance in addition to sound-absorbing performance, and
- wherein said board member is formed so as to have a board shape with a non-metallic material having sound-insulating performance and rigidity.
