Abstract
A method and a system of converting a textile-based feedstock to a product. The method includes providing a textile-based feedstock. The textile-based feedstock has a moisture regain. The textile-based feedstock has a moisture content above the moisture regain. An aqueous fraction is added to the textile-based feedstock to obtain a feedstock mixture. The feedstock mixture is subjected to hydrothermal liquefaction.

A method of converting a textile-based feedstock to a product, the method comprising steps of:
- providing a textile-based feedstock, the textile-based feedstock having a moisture regain, wherein the textile-based feedstock has a moisture content above said moisture regain;
- adding an aqueous fraction to the textile-based feedstock to obtain a feedstock mixture;
- and
- subjecting the feedstock mixture to hydrothermal liquefaction.
