Abstract
Methods of treating a skin disorder or condition in a patient by topically administering to the patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising roflumilast. The methods of treatment include administering the roflumilast composition once a day for a period of time followed by administering the roflumilast composition twice weekly as a maintenance dosing regimen.

A method of treating a patient suffering from atopic dermatitis comprising:
- topically administering to the patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising 0.05% or 0.15% roflumilast once a day for four weeks;
- and
- topically administering to the patient the pharmaceutical composition twice a week,
- wherein the twice weekly administration begins after the four weeks of once daily administration.

A method of treating a patient suffering from atopic dermatitis comprising:
- topically administering to the patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising 0.05% or 0.15% roflumilast once a day until the patient achieves a Validated Investigator Global Assessment Scale for Atopic Dermatitis score of zero;
- topically administering to the patient the pharmaceutical composition twice a week,
- wherein the twice weekly administration begins after the once daily administration.
