Method of video downloading, method of video transmission, terminal device, server and storage medium

A method of video transmission, applied to a server storing a panoramic video, comprising:

• receiving a video data downloading request sent by a client, wherein the video data downloading request comprises a request for downloading target video data in the panoramic video generated according to a buffer length, and the target video data is associated with at least one selected from the group consisting of first video data or second video data;
• returning a request result corresponding to the video data downloading request to the client, and causing the client to download the target video data transmitted by the server according to the request result received,
• wherein the buffer length comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of:
• in a panoramic video, a first current buffer length and a first target buffer length of the first video data corresponding to a target viewing angle, and a second current buffer length and a second target buffer length of the second video data corresponding to a user viewing angle, the user viewing angle comprises a viewing angle of a video-viewing user of the panoramic video, a coverage area of the target viewing angle is greater than a coverage area of the user viewing angle, and a video quality of the first video data is lower than a video quality of the second video data.

A non-transient computer readable storage medium, wherein the non-transient computer-readable storage medium stores computer programs, when the computer programs are executed by a processor, implementing a method of video downloading or a method of video transmission,

• wherein the method of video downloading is applied to a client and comprises:
• acquiring a buffer length, wherein the buffer length comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of:
• in a panoramic video, a first current buffer length and a first target buffer length of first video data corresponding to a target viewing angle, and a second current buffer length and a second target buffer length of second video data corresponding to a user viewing angle, the user viewing angle comprises a viewing angle of a video-viewing user of the panoramic video, a coverage area of the target viewing angle is greater than a coverage area of the user viewing angle, and a video quality of the first video data is lower than a video quality of the second video data;
• generating a video data downloading request according to the buffer length, wherein the video data downloading request is a request for downloading target video data in the panoramic video stored in a server, and the target video data is associated with at least one selected from the group consisting of the first video data and the second video data;
• and
• sending the video data downloading request to the server, and downloading the target video data according to a received request result returned by the server with respect to the video data downloading request;
• wherein the method of video transmission is applied to the server storing the panoramic video and comprises:
• receiving the video data downloading request sent by the client;
• and
• returning the request result corresponding to the video data downloading request to the client, and causing the client to download the target video data transmitted by the server according to the request result received.
