Device operation method and device using same in wireless communication system

A method of operating a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• receiving a full duplex (FD) configuration message, wherein the FD configuration message informs a FD time resource, a downlink (DL) frequency resource used for DL in the FD time resource, and an uplink (UL) frequency resource used for UL in the FD time resource;
• and
• receiving a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration message, wherein the CSI-RS configuration message informs a contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource for a CSI-RS,
• wherein, in the FD time resource, a non-contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource is derived by excluding frequency resources outside the DL frequency resource from the contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource for the CSI-RS.

A user equipment (UE), the UE comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• at least one memory;
• and
• at least one processor operatively connected to the at least one transceiver and the at least one memory,
• wherein the at least one memory stores instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
• receiving a full duplex (FD) configuration message, wherein the FD configuration message informs a FD time resource, a downlink (DL) frequency resource used for DL in the FD time resource, and an uplink (UL) frequency resource used for UL in the FD time resource;
• and
• receiving a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration message, wherein the CSI-RS configuration message informs a contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource for a CSI-RS,
• wherein, in the FD time resource, a non-contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource is derived by excluding frequency resources outside the DL frequency resource from the contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource for the CSI-RS.

A method of operating a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• transmitting a full duplex (FD) configuration message, wherein the FD configuration message informs a FD time resource, a downlink (DL) frequency resource used for DL in the FD time resource, and an uplink (UL) frequency resource used for UL in the FD time resource;
• and
• transmitting a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration message, wherein the CSI-RS configuration message informs a contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource for a CSI-RS,
• wherein, in the FD time resource, a non-contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource is derived by excluding frequency resources outside the DL frequency resource from the contiguous CSI-RS frequency resource for the CSI-RS.
