Abstract
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for electrical switching. In some examples. electrical switching is performed by a plurality of switching arrangements. The plurality of switching arrangements may be connected in parallel to one another.
Claims20
An apparatus comprising:
- a first switching arrangement comprising:
- a first non-mechanical electrical switch;
- and
- a first electromechanical switch, wherein the first non-mechanical electrical switch and the first electromechanical switch are connected in series;
- a second switching arrangement comprising:
- a second non-mechanical electrical switch;
- and
- a second electromechanical switch wherein the second non-mechanical electrical switch and the second electromechanical switch are connected in series;
- and
- a plurality of terminals including a first positive terminal, a second positive terminal, a first negative terminal, and a second negative terminal;
- wherein the first switching arrangement is connected between the first positive terminal and the second positive terminal;
- and
- wherein the second switching arrangement is connected between the first negative terminal and the second negative terminal.
