Systems and methods for math-based currency credit transactions

A system comprising:

• at least one processing circuit coupled to a memory;
• and
• the memory storing instructions that when executed by the at least one processing circuit causes the at least one processing circuit to:
• create at least one first key associated with a first address;
• create at least one second key associated with a second MBC address;
• transfer an amount of MBC from addresses associated with a transaction to the first MBC address of the created at least one first key;
• transfer a remaining amount of MBC from the addresses to the second MBC address of the created at least one second key;
• in response to transferring the remaining amount of MBC, store the at least one second key in a pooled database, wherein the pooled database stores a plurality of keys comprising the at least one second key, and wherein the pooled database stores a total amount of MBC of a financial institution;
• broadcast the transferred amount of MBC to a plurality of verification nodes;
• determine a verification status of the transferred amount of MBC based on assessing a blockchain associated with the plurality of verification nodes;
• in response to determining the verification status, update an overlay ledger by the amount of MBC transferred, wherein the overlay ledger tracks amounts of MBC including the amount of MBC transferred with each account of the financial institution.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by at least one processing circuit, cause the at least one processing circuit to:

• create at least one first key associated with a first address;
• create at least one second key associated with a second MBC address;
• transfer an amount of MBC from addresses associated with a transaction to the first MBC address of the created at least one first key;
• transfer a remaining amount of MBC from the addresses to the second MBC address of the created at least one second key;
• in response to transferring the remaining amount of MBC, store the at least one second key in a pooled database, wherein the pooled database stores a plurality of keys comprising the at least one second key, and wherein the pooled database stores a total amount of MBC of a financial institution;
• broadcast the transferred amount of MBC to a plurality of verification nodes;
• determine a verification status of the transferred amount of MBC based on assessing a blockchain associated with the plurality of verification nodes;
• in response to determining the verification status, update an overlay ledger by the amount of MBC transferred, wherein the overlay ledger tracks amounts of MBC including the amount of MBC transferred with each account of the financial institution.
