Abstract
Disclosed herein are various medical device components, including components that can be incorporated into robotic and/or in vivo medical devices. Also disclosed are various medical devices for in vivo medical procedures. Included herein, for example, is a surgical robotic device having an elongate device body, a right robotic arm coupled to a right shoulder assembly, and a left robotic arm coupled to a left shoulder assembly.

A surgical robotic device, comprising:
- (a) a device body comprising proximal and distal ends, the device body comprising:
- (i) a right motor;
- and
- (ii) a left motor;
- (b) a right shoulder disposed at the distal end of the device body;
- (c) a right robotic arm operably coupled to the right shoulder;
- (d) a left shoulder disposed at the distal end of the device body;
- and
- (e) a left robotic arm operably coupled to the left shoulder.
A surgical robotic device, comprising:
- (a) a device body comprising a right motor and a left motor;
- (b) a right arm assembly comprising:
- (i) a right shoulder disposed at a distal end of the device body, the right shoulder comprising a right output bevel gear;
- and
- (ii) a right robotic arm operably coupled to the right shoulder;
- and
- (c) a left arm assembly comprising:
- (i) a left shoulder disposed at the distal end of the device body, the left shoulder comprising a left output bevel gear;
- and
- (ii) a left robotic arm operably coupled to the left shoulder.
A robotic device comprising:
- a) a device body;
- b) a right shoulder disposed at a distal end of the device body, the right shoulder comprising a right output bevel gear;
- c) a right motor disposed within the device body, wherein the right motor is operably coupled to the right shoulder;
- d) a right robotic arm operably coupled to the right shoulder;
- e) a left shoulder disposed at the distal end of the device body, the left shoulder comprising a left output bevel gear;
- f) a left motor disposed within the device body, wherein the left motor is operably coupled to the left shoulder;
- and
- g) a left robotic arm operably coupled to the left shoulder.
