Systems and methods for signaling pdsch diversity

A wireless device for receiving a plurality of downlink transmissions, the wireless device comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory comprising instructions to cause the wireless device to:
• determine one or more Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) ports and a plurality of Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) states for receiving the plurality of downlink transmissions, wherein the one or more DMRS ports belong to one DMRS port group;
• associate each one of the plurality of TCI states with a respective Redundancy Version (RV) from a plurality of RVs;
• determine a plurality of associations between the one or more DMRS ports and the plurality of RVs based on the associations between the plurality of TCI states and the plurality of RVs;
• and
• receive the plurality of downlink transmissions using the plurality of associations between the one or more DMRS ports and the plurality of RVs.

A base station for enabling reception of a plurality of downlink transmissions, the base station comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• memory comprising instructions to cause the base station to:
• transmit an indication of one or more Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) ports and a plurality of Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) states for receiving the plurality of downlink transmissions, wherein the one or more DMRS ports belong to one DMRS port group;
• transmit the plurality of downlink transmissions using a plurality of associations between the one or more DMRS ports and a plurality of Redundancy Versions (RVs),
• wherein the plurality of associations between the one or more DMRS ports and the plurality of RVs is based on a plurality of associations between the plurality of TCI states and the plurality of RVs, with each one of the plurality of TCI states being associated with a respective Redundancy Version (RV) from the plurality of RVs.
