Method for transmitting or receiving frame in wireless lan system and apparatus therefor

A device comprising:

• a memory configured to store instructions;
• and
• a processor configured to perform operations by executing the instructions, the operations comprising:
• generating a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) comprising a signal A (SIG A) field including a first duration field;
• and
• transmitting the PPDU,
• wherein the first duration field includes at least one most significant bit (MSB) related to a first value and a second value related to at least one least significant bit (LSB) related to a second value,
• wherein multiplication of the first value and the second value is related to a transmission opportunity (TXOP) duration value.

A method performed by a device in a wireless local area network (WLAN), the method comprising:

• receiving a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) comprising a signal A (SIG A) field including a first duration field;
• and
• obtaining a transmission opportunity (TXOP) duration value based on (i) a first value related to at least one most significant bit (MSB) of the first duration field and (ii) a second value related to at least one least significant bit (LSB) of the first duration field,
• wherein the TXOP duration value is related to multiplication of (i) the first value and (ii) the second value.

A device comprising:

• a memory configured to store instructions;
• and
• a processor configured to perform operations by executing the instructions, the operations comprising:
• receiving a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) comprising a signal A (SIG A) field including a first duration field;
• and
• obtaining a transmission opportunity (TXOP) duration value based on (i) a first value related to at least one most significant bit (MSB) of the first duration field and (ii) a second value related to at least one least significant bit (LSB) of the first duration field,
• wherein the TXOP duration value is related to multiplication of (i) the first value and (ii) the second value.
