Abstract
A video coding device may be configured to perform video coding according to one or more of the techniques described herein.
Claims3
A method of video decoding, the method comprising:
- determining a scaling factor based on a width of a reference picture and a width of a current picture;
- and
- determining which filter coefficients to use for a chroma interpolation filter based on a value of the scaling factor being greater than a first threshold and less than a second threshold,
- wherein the chroma interpolation filter is a 4-tap filter defined for 32 fractional sample positions, includes interpolation filter coefficients corresponding to each of the 32 fractional sample positions, and includes the interpolation filter coefficients being equal to [12, 40, 12, 0] for respective taps 0 to 3 at the fractional sample position 0.
